Thomas is an interaction designer and developer with an extensive technical background in web and desktop applications. After graduating in Computing Science from Queen's University, he worked in the software consulting industry, spending 7 years building enterprise solutions for Fortune 500 clients. As a consultant, he has collaborated closely with C-level executives, managers and end users. He contributed in all phases of the software life cycle, from requirements gathering to release. Developing an interest in user interaction, he expanded his role to delivering wireframes, storyboards, use cases and rapid prototypes. This ultimately lead him to pursue graduate studies in interaction design and emerging media at New York University's Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP). This was a unique lab environment that helped him to further his skills in creative design, user experience and software development. Putting all his skills together, he created immersive and participatory experiences in mobile, web and physical environments. His interactive pieces seek to draw strangers together in intriguing and innovative ways. After completing his master's degree in 2009, Thomas seeks opportunities to design and develop innovative UI solutions from concept to product.
